Welcome to Surf City Ocean Pier. By purchasing a day pass, entering a tournament, or using our website, you agree to these terms.

Day Passes: passes are valid only for the date of purchase. No refunds for unused passes. Lost passes may be replaced at the pier shop for a $2 fee.

Fishing Conduct: all anglers must follow NC fishing regulations. The pier fishing license included with your pass covers standard rod-and-reel fishing from the pier only. Cast net fishing and gaff use require prior approval from pier staff.

Equipment Rentals: rod and reel rentals require a deposit, refunded on return. Damage beyond normal wear will be charged to the renter.

Tournament Entry: entry fees are non-refundable. Weigh-in rules and species guidelines are posted at the pier shop for each event.

Safety: fishing hooks, weights, and rods on a crowded pier are hazardous. Pier guests must exercise reasonable care. Surf City Ocean Pier is not liable for injuries resulting from participant negligence.

We reserve the right to close the pier or cancel events due to lightning, high winds, or other dangerous weather conditions. Refunds for weather closures are at the discretion of pier management.
